Finding Your Voice - Rewiring the Brain - In this workshop we work on building confidence and expression through the neuroscience of rewiring the brain using music as the medium. When emotion, memory, body and reward systems activate together, the brain is more open to forming new neural pathways.

About the event

Finding Your Voice is a series of Workshops developed by Psychologist and Diva Susan Crockett-Crave.

In this workshop Susan looks at how the brain rewires.

With repeated experiences of repair, when we are heard, understood, or reconnected - by others and or importantly by ourselves, our nervous system learns that connection is possible again. We can self-repair using self-compassion, self-validation allowing ourselves to feel safe when we are safe.

Music activates the multiple parts of the brain: emotion, memory, body awareness and reward systems this is why music can be so powerful and is the medium we are using for these workshops.

Participants can expect:

  • A trauma-informed, psychologically safe environment
